Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader

Groundscapes is a leading commercial and residential landscape company serving the Omaha metro for over 25 years. We are hiring a Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to lead field crews and deliver high-quality maintenance services across our portfolio. This is a working leadership role where you will lead by example while ensuring jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and to Groundscapes standards.

Full-Time in Valley, NE
$22–$27 per hour
Year-Round Work - No Layoffs
Paid Weekly

What You’ll Do

You’ll lead a crew of 2–4 team members on daily service routes. Responsibilities include completing commercial and residential landscape maintenance; hedge trimming, bed maintenance, weed control, pruning, and detail work; overseeing spring cleanups, mulch installs, edging, and seasonal services; completing fall cleanups and leaf removal; tracking time and materials using scheduling software; transporting crew and equipment to job sites; ensuring quality control on every property; maintaining safety compliance and PPE standards; and completing snow removal during the winter season.

What We’re Looking For

2+ years of experience in landscape maintenance (commercial preferred), previous crew leadership experience strongly preferred, comfortable leading and directing team members, strong work ethic and dependable attendance, ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, ability to operate trucks and pull trailers (CDL not required), experience operating commercial mowers and maintenance equipment, and local knowledge of the Omaha area with reliable transportation.

Preferred (Not Required)

Previous commercial landscape maintenance experience, crew leadership experience, experience operating commercial landscape equipment, and familiarity with scheduling or job-tracking software.

Pay & Benefits
